These three icons were made in remembrance of the first ever Pride Parade in 1970, and the marketing techniques that followed at this time. The first icon is a collection of buttons that were personally passed out at the parade itself. The second icon portrays one of the speakers that spoke at the parade, Del Martin. The last one is a rendition of one of the posters posted at the parade as well. Taken together, this work historicizes and celebrates the LGBTQ community.
